Piernas (Tibia) / Legs (Shin)

Esta pieza es de cartón de 1mm y le agregue detalles de relieves y ranuras para darle mas detalles a los dibujos del original. Aquí solo muestro, por ahora, la pieza básica ya que mas adelante la reforzare con un tubo de aluminio de 1 pulgada que ira desde el pie hasta la base de la rodilla. Este tubo será la guía para unas varillas que estarán en la base del modelo y así podrá mantenerse parado.


This piece is of cardboard of 1mm and I add details of reliefs and groove to give it more details to the drawings of the original. Here only show, for now, the basic piece for forward reinforced it with a tube of aluminium of 1 inch that will be from the foot until the base of the knee. This tube will be the guide for some wands that will be in the base of the model and like this will be able to maintain stand.

Rodilla / Knee

Las rodillas son piezas muy sencillas construidas en cartón de 1mm con la característica de que reforcé el interior y por donde pasara el eje que conecta con el fémur. Este eje será un tarugo de madera de 15mm. También utilice tarugos de 8mm para la conexión con los pistones.


The knees are pieces very simple built in cardboard of 1mm with the characteristic that I reinforced the interior and by where happened the axis that connects with the femur. This axis will be a lump of wood of 15mm. Also use a lump of 8mm for the connection with the pistones.

Piernas (Femur) / Legs (Femur)

Bueno aquí la construcción de las piernas, empezando por su parte superior y pieza mas larga el “fémur”.
Esta construida en cartón de 1mm y tiene detalles en relieve del mismo espesor y otros detalles en un cartón mas delgado también como en piezas anteriores.
Lo destacado de la construcción de esta pieza es que le agregue unas varillas de madera de 1x1 cm. en su interior para darle mas rigidez y resistencia, por un lado porque es una pieza larga y por el otro lado para soportar el peso del resto del cuerpo; ya que mi idea es que el T-800 se mantenga parado por si solo.

The highlighted of the building of this piece is that I add some stick of wood of 1x1 cm. In his interior to give it more rigidity and resistance, on the one hand because it is a long piece and by the another side to bear the weight of the rest of the body; since my idea is that the T-800 maintain stopped by if only.

Mano / Hand

Decidí que esta pieza tenía que tener más detalles que su versión en papercraft así que recolecte información y rediseñe las manos a mi versión, lo más fiel posible al T-800 original. Para su construcción utilice una combinación de cartones, madera y unas arandelas de goma para obtener una mano con la posibilidad de articular sus dedos.
La mano esta a falta de ensamblar los dedos así como agregar detalles como “tendones” y cables los cuales se añadirán en el momento de su pintado.


I decided that this piece had to have more details that his version in papercraft so recolect information and design the hands to my version, the most faithful possible to the T-800 original. For his building use a combination of cardboards, wood and some washer of rubber to obtain a hand with the possibility to articulate his fingers. The hand this to fault of joind the fingers like this as add details like “sinews” and wires which will add in the moment of his painted.

Antebrazo / Forearm

Esta pieza es sencilla pero tiene que ser construida con presición, aquí les presento una parte ya que ahí que coordinar su construcción con la mano (siguiente post).
Esta construida en cartón de 1mm, detalles de relieve en el mismo espesor y tarugos de madera de 1cm para las futuras varillas de los pistones. También use una media esfera de madera para simular el enganche con la muñeca.


This piece is simple but has to be built with presición, here present them a part since here that coordinate his building with the hand (following post). Brazo y Codo / Arm & Elbow

El brazo esta construido en cartón de 1mm, los ejes de los pistones son tarugos de madera de 10mm. Al codo le agregue detalles de profundidad. Todo el conjunto esta articulado para simular los movimientos básicos del brazo. Agregue en el interior de los cilindros un disco de goma para generar un rose con las varillas de madera y así tener un movimiento mas firme. En las fotos por ahora solo aparecen estas varillas a modo de prevista, mas adelante cuando comience a pintar las agregare.


The arm is built in cardboard of 1mm, the axes of the pistons are lumps of wood of 10mm. To the elbow I add details of depth. All the group this articulated to simulate the basic movements of the arm.
I add in the interior of the cilinders a disk of rubber to generate friction with the lump of wood and like this have a movement more firm. In the photos for now only appear these lumps of wood to way of due, I will add it forward when it begin to paint.
